Terms of Service

1. Operator

1.1. Legal Entity. This Service is provided and operated by AI Video Check (Individual Entrepreneur registered in Ukraine).

1.2. Registration. The operator is registered in Ukraine and operates in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

1.3. Notices. All legal notices, takedown requests or other communications regarding these Terms must be sent to support@aivideocheck.net.

2. Description of Service

2.1. Core Functionality. AI Video Check is an online platform that leverages machine-learning and AI algorithms to perform preliminary screening of uploaded or linked videos for indicators of synthetic (AI-generated) content.

2.2. Output Delivered. Upon processing, the Service returns:

• a risk score (on a scale from 0 to 100%), indicating likelihood of AI generation;
• a thumbnail preview extracted from the analyzed video.

2.3. Informational Use Only. All results are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. They are not legally binding, do not constitute expert opinion, and must not be relied upon as the sole evidence in any legal or administrative proceeding.

3. Age Restrictions

3.1. Minimum Age. The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older.

3.2. Minor Protection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and associated data immediately.

3.3. Age Verification. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Registration, Authentication & Accounts

4.1. Guest Access. Users may perform one (1) free video check per day without creating an account. Registered users receive three (3) free video checks per day. Free checks are limited to videos up to one (1) minute in length and to the file-size limit shown in the Service interface.

4.2. Usage Limits. When the free daily allowance is exhausted, or when a video exceeds the free-tier length or size limits, the user may either wait until the next day (a new 24-hour allowance) or purchase credits to continue using the Service, as described in section 8.

4.3. Full Access. To exceed the free-check limit, view full history, or access paid features, users must register with a valid email (passwords are stored hashed using industry-standard algorithms, and no plaintext passwords are ever accessible) or sign in via Google Authentication (OAuth 2.0—Operator never stores your Google credentials).

4.4. Account Security. Each user is solely responsible for safeguarding their login details and all activity under their account. Operator may suspend or terminate any account suspected of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

5. User Content & Content Rights

5.1. Rights. You retain all rights to videos you upload or link. You represent and warrant that you have all required permissions to submit any content, and that such content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5.2. License. By uploading or linking video, you grant Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, analyze and display thumbnails for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.3. Sharing Results. Sharing a result is optional and occurs only when you click "Share". By sharing, you make the selected verdict and its thumbnail frame publicly accessible via a link. Shared content is automatically removed after 90 days, or when a registered user deletes their account, whichever comes first. Do not share results derived from content you do not have the right to make public.

6. Video Data Retention & Privacy

6.1. Processing & Deletion. Uploaded videos are stored only for the duration of analysis, then permanently deleted.

6.2. Thumbnail Storage.

• For paid users: a single extracted thumbnail frame is retained for 30 days to populate user's history
• For free users: thumbnails are generated on-the-fly and not stored

6.3. Security Measures. All video transfers and temporary storage occur over encrypted channels (HTTPS); thumbnails are stored encrypted at rest and deleted automatically after their retention period.

7. Prohibited Conduct

7.1. Illegal & Infringing Content. You may not upload videos that violate any law, infringe copyrights, or contain extremist, violent, or pornographic material.

7.2. Automated Abuse & Attacks. Bulk uploads, API scraping, DDoS, or any attempt to circumvent usage limits or fees is strictly forbidden.

7.3. Reverse Engineering. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract or replicate the Service's underlying algorithms or models.

8. Pricing and Payment

8.1. Free Tier. Limited free usage is provided as described in section 4.1.

8.2. Paid Services and Credits. Beyond the free tier, the Service operates on a credit basis. One (1) credit permits the analysis of one video of up to one (1) minute; videos longer than one minute consume one (1) credit for each started minute of duration. Credits allow videos up to the length and file-size limits stated in the Service interface. Credits may be obtained as one-time credit packs or as part of a recurring subscription. Unless stated otherwise at the point of sale, credit packs expire ninety (90) days after purchase; credits granted under a subscription are valid for the corresponding billing period. Credits carry no monetary value outside the Service, are non-transferable, and are refundable only as set out in our Refund Policy. Current prices, pack sizes and subscription terms are displayed on the website and may include various currencies and payment methods.

8.3. Taxes. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law.

8.4. Subscription and Auto-Renewal.

• Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• Users will be notified in advance of each renewal
• Users can cancel auto-renewal at any time through their account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

8.5. Data Retention After Downgrade.

• When downgrading from a paid plan to the free tier, your analysis history is retained but is not accessible on the free tier
• Access to the history is restored when a subscription is purchased again
• You may delete your history at any time by deleting your account or by contacting support

8.6. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record.

• Payments are handled by our authorized payment partners depending on your location.
• For customers in Ukraine, payments are processed by Monobank.
• For customers outside Ukraine, the order is processed by our reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, billing and related payment inquiries in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.
• The applicable payment partner is determined automatically at checkout.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

9.1. "As Is." The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

9.2. Informational Only. Results are not legally binding and must not be relied upon as sole proof in any legal, administrative, or professional context.

9.3. Liability Cap. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operator's total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid for the most recent subscription period; Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

10.1. Modifications. Operator may modify these Terms at any time in its sole discretion.

10.2. Notice. Revised Terms will be posted with a new "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice.

10.3. Acceptance. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Google Authentication

11.1. OAuth Integration. You may sign in or register using your Google account via OAuth 2.0.

11.2. Data Access. We request access only to your Google profile email and basic account information (name, email address, profile picture).

11.3. Data Use. This data is used solely to authenticate you and pre-fill your account details. We do not store or share your Google credentials.

11.4. Consent. By choosing Google Authentication, you consent to the transfer and processing of this data in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

12. Third-Party Advertising

12.1. Advertisement Display. The Service may display third-party advertisements to Free-tier users. Advertising is currently disabled. If and when advertising is enabled, advertising networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Paid plans are not shown advertisements.

12.2. Opt-out Options. Where personalized advertising is enabled, you may opt out via your browser settings or the opt-out tools provided by the relevant advertising network.

12.3. Third-Party Disclaimer. Advertisements and links to third-party sites are provided as a convenience. We do not endorse or control these third parties and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

13.1. Applicable Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13.2. Jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ukraine.

13.3. Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
